PROCUREMENT GUIDE
Laser Welding Machine Quote Checklist
Make every quotation identify the workpiece, welding format, selected configuration, supplied equipment and service boundary before comparing price.
Request a quoteInformation for the supplier
- Joint drawing and material specification
- Thicknesses, seam positions and access
- Handheld or automatic work arrangement
- Required head, wire feeding and cooling configuration
- Samples and acceptance questions
- Destination, schedule, installation and training needs
Control the application record
Give every joint or assembly a drawing reference. Record materials, thicknesses, seam geometry, access and part positioning. Identify production quantity and the work that repeats. A stable record lets the supplier answer against the same job and makes later changes visible.
Attach photographs as supporting context, not as a substitute for dimensions. If fit-up, fixtures or upstream preparation affect the joint, describe them. Keep each sample and response tied to the drawing revision used at the time.
Require one identifiable configuration
The offer should name the handheld or automatic family, model, power and selected equipment. Ask it to identify the welding head, wire feeding, cooling, electrical requirements and any optional items. Do not treat every catalog alternative as included.
For automatic work, add the proposed motion and fixture boundary. For handheld work, add operator access and reach. A quotation that states power without the work format and components is incomplete for comparison.
Separate supplied equipment and buyer preparation
List installation-site power, floor space, extraction, fixtures and handling. Ask which items Victory Industry supplies, which are optional and which the buyer must prepare. Include requested installation, commissioning and training in the same scope table.
Ask for the applicable technical support, maintenance and upgrade arrangements. Technical support is available 24/7, but the commercial details around response, travel, parts and warranty must be confirmed for the project.
Close the technical and commercial comparison together
Compare model, components, accessories and service before comparing total price. Add delivery arrangement, payment terms, warranty scope, packing and documentation. A missing answer should remain marked pending.
Use a final approval record showing the drawing revision, chosen configuration, included items, options, buyer work and open points. This creates one basis for purchasing, installation planning and later support communication.
Purchasing questions
What makes a welding quotation comparable?
The same workpiece record, welding format, selected components, options and service scope must be visible in each offer.
Should photographs replace drawings?
No. Use photographs as context and provide dimensions, materials, joint geometry and a controlled drawing reference.
Which service details belong in the quote?
Identify installation, commissioning, training, technical support, maintenance and any project-specific warranty or travel conditions.
